SpotOn Order Type setup is done through both the Order Types, and Locations sections of the BOH.
## Step 1 - Create Order Types

| 1. Create the SpotOn Order in Order Types for** SpotOn Order**-**Pickup** and **SpotOn Order**-**Delivery**. For detailed instructions on how to setup an Order Type, please see [Order Types](https://spotonteam.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SI/pages/749731844/Order+Types+SpotOn+Restaurant+BOH).
- For** SpotOn Order-PickUp **be sure that the settings include:
- The name should include** “SpotOn Order**”, so it does not get confused with regular Order Types
- Customer Attachment Requirement set to Customer
- For **SpotOn-Delivery **be sure the settings include:
- The name should include “**SpotOn Order**”
- Customer Attachment Requirement set to Customer Address
- Any Automatically Applied** **Surcharges, i.e., Delivery Fee
- For** Dine In** we will be using the existing** **Dine In Order Type, do **not** create a new one
- Be sure that for the Dine In order type, the **Customer Attachment Requirement** is left at **None**
> ⚠️ The order types used for Pickup and Delivery must have their **Customer Attachment Requirement** set to **Customer**. If it is set to Customer Address, orders will **not **print!

## Step 2 - SpotOn Order Types Settings

| 1. Tap on the **Locations** icon
2. Scroll to **Dineloyal/SpotOn Online Ordering Settings **
3. In the **Pickup Order Type** section, use the drop down menu to select the newly created** **SpotOn Order-PickUp Order Type
4. In the **Pickup Lead Time** section, input the appropriate** Lead Time**, in minutes
- This is the amount of time needed to *prepare* an order
- The Lead Time **must **be a number between 1 and 999

5. Tick the **Pickup Pay Later Enabled **box, if appropriate
6. In the **Delivery Order Type** section, use the drop down menu to select SpotOn Order-Delivery Order Type
7. In the **Delivery Lead Time **section, input the appropriate Lead Time, in minutes
- This is the* same concept* as Pickup Lead time, but here, consider the time needed to also *deliver* the food.
- The Lead Time **must **be a number between 1 and 999

8. Tick the **Delivery Pay Later Enabled** box, if desired
9. Set the Delivery Minimum Amount, i.e., the minimum dollar amount of a Delivery Order check |  |
| ### Dine-In Settings
With Dine-In, customers can now walk into a restaurant, sit down at a table, order food, and pay for their bill without ever touching a menu. All a customer has to do is use their mobile device to scan a QR code on the table. This QR code will then open a web view and a customer can view the menu and start an order. Dine-In works with all mobile devices.
10. Scroll to the **SpotOn Order Settings **section
- This is where you will set up the **SpotOn Order Dine-In settings**, and why a new SpotOn Order Order Type was not created for Dine-In
11. In the **Dine-In Order Type** drop down menu, select the Order Type *created for Dine In QR Ordering*, e.g., **QR Dine In** or **Dine In QR**
- *This should be a different order type from the Dine In Order Type that's used for dine in orders rang in on a station or handheld*
12. Check the** SpotOn Order Enabled in SpotOn Apps** checkbox
13. Check the **Dine-In Pay Later Enabled **checkbox (optional)
- This will allow the guest to start a tab, and pay at the end of their visit |  |
