## Overview 

Update the SpotOn Express default landing page that displays after logging in and after every transaction from the POS UI settings in the Dashboard. POS UI settings also include settings to capture guest count so teams can quickly see how many guests are associated with each transaction.

## Set Menu, Checks, or Tables as the Default Landing Page on POS

When you log into the Point of Sale front of house, you can choose to log into the Tables, Menu, or Checks/Open Orders Screen, depending on what is most efficient for your operations. 

1. Log in to the **SpotOn Dashboard**
2. From the left-hand menu, select  **Account & Settings** >** POS UI settings **

## Require Guest Count

Guest count entry is available on all dine-in checks with no setup. To prompt staff to enter guest count whenever a table opens, enable required in your Dashboard.

1. Log in to the **SpotOn Dashboard**
2. From the left-hand menu, select  **Account & Settings** >** POS UI settings**
3. Set Guest count requirement:
  - **Optional **– default
  - **Required **– When this is on, a prompt appears each time a server opens a new table, asking for the number of guests before the order begins.
4. **Save**
