## Overview

Loman AI's voice agent can now answer your phone and book reservations directly into SpotOn Reserve. When a guest calls, the AI answers on the first ring, confirms the party size, date, time, and seating preference, and adds the reservation to Reserve in real time — so you capture bookings even during the dinner rush when your team is on the floor.

## Before you begin

- You're on SpotOn Reserve and take phone reservations.
- You have Loman AI enabled for your restaurant. (Already using Loman for phone ordering? Reservations is an add-on capability.)
- This isn't a fit yet if your reservation slots require a deposit or no-show fee — see Things to know.

## How it works

1. A guest calls your restaurant and Loman's AI agent answers on the first ring.
2. The agent confirms party size, date, time, and seating preference.
3. The reservation is written into SpotOn Reserve instantly and appears alongside your other bookings.
4. If a guest booked through Loman, they can call back and the agent will modify or cancel that reservation on the same call.

## What your staff will see

Loman reservations show up in SpotOn Reserve just like any other booking — there's nothing new for your hosts to learn or manage.

## Things to know

- **Deposits and no-show fees aren't supported yet.** Reservation times that require a deposit or no-show fee can't be booked through the AI agent for now. Guests can still book those directly.
- **Waitlist isn't supported yet.** The agent doesn't handle waitlist requests today.
- **Changes are limited to Loman bookings.** The agent can only modify or cancel reservations that were originally made through Loman. Reservations booked directly, online, or entered by your host need to be changed in Reserve.
