## Overview
SpotOn Express allows merchants to configure **sales taxes based on order type**, such as **Dine-In, To-Go, or Delivery**.
This is especially useful in locations where food is taxed differently depending on where it is consumed.
Using the **To Go & Delivery Override** setting for taxes, merchants can:
- Make items **tax exempt** when included in specific order types
- Apply **alternate tax rates to items** when ordered for to-go or delivery
