## **Overview**

The Profit Report provides a detailed breakdown of how individual menu items and item groups contribute to your restaurant’s overall profitability. By comparing cost, price, and sales performance, you can identify top profit drivers and make informed decisions about menu pricing, item placement, and cost control.

For the most accurate reporting, ensure every menu item has a cost assigned in the Back of House (BOH). Costs may be added individually or through the bulk editor.

## **FAQs**

**Why is my profit data incorrect or incomplete?**
Missing or incorrect item cost values in BOH will cause inaccurate profit calculations. Ensure all menu items have cost assigned.

**Can I adjust the date range?**
Yes. Use the Date Range selector at the top of the report.

**Why don’t some items show sales or profit data?**
Items will only display metrics if they were sold during the selected time period.
