## **Overview**

The **Daily Sales Recap (DSR)** also referred to as the **Z-Report** provides the complete set of metrics needed to close out the business day and prepare for the next. It is one of the most critical and frequently used reports in SpotOn Restaurant Reporting.

The DSR includes interactive links that allow you to drill down into detailed sales, payment, labor, and tax data, ensuring full visibility into daily performance.

## **Step-by-Step Instructions**

**Display**

1. Log in to <u>[http://restaurantreports.spoton.com](http://restaurantreports.spoton.com/)</u>.
2. From the left-side toolbar, hover to expand options.
3. Select **Sales**.
4. Choose **Daily Sales Recap** from the list of reports.

**Customize Your View in the DSR**

You can customize the data displayed in the Daily Sales Recap using **Edit Columns**.

**To customize your DSR view:**

1. Select **Edit Columns**.
2. Check or uncheck the available fields you want displayed.
  - Sales
  - Voids
  - Actual
  - Discounts
  - Refunds
  - Net Sales
3. Select **Apply** to update your view.

**Report Options **

You can print the Daily Sales Recap report for offline review.

**To Print the DSR:**

1. Access the Daily Sales Recap report.
2. Select **Print** in the upper-right corner.

## **FAQs**

**Why can’t I see certain columns in my DSR?**  
Some columns are controlled by internal configuration. Contact Support if you need additional metrics enabled or displayed.

**Can I print only specific sections of the DSR?**  
At this time, the print function downloads the full report in the selected file format.

## **Tips**

- If data appears incomplete, verify that you are viewing the correct **Fiscal Day** and not just the standard calendar day.
- Clear your browser cache or refresh the page if export options do not appear.
- Use drill-down links throughout the report to quickly access detailed transaction-level information.
