The **Auto-End Breaks When Clocking Out** feature ensures that any active employee breaks are automatically ended when a shift is closed. This helps maintain accurate timecards and reduces the need for manual corrections.
By preventing open breaks from remaining active after clock-out, this feature improves payroll accuracy and provides better visibility into employee labor data.
**What Happens When Employees Clock Out on a Break**
When an employee clocks out while on a break:
- The system automatically ends the active break
- The shift is flagged for manager review
- A **“Shift Requires Review”** indicator appears in the Dashboard
