## Overview
The SpotOn Express **Report Cash Tips** feature allows employees to enter the cash tips they’ve earned during their shift from the Point of Sale (POS) so managers can track and report them easily to a payroll provider.
> ℹ️ This feature is **disabled by default**. To use it, you must enable and configure it in Dashboard.

> ⚠️ The Declare Cash Tips feature is for reporting cash tips earned only. This feature is **not** for distributing or paying tips.

> ⚠️ Managers can use these records to streamline payroll submissions and maintain compliance.

## How to Enable Cash Tip Reporting
1. Log in to the [SpotOn Dashboard](https://dashboard.spoton.com/)
2. From the left-hand menu, select **Team Management > Settings > Clocking **Tab
3. Scroll down to “End of Day” and Toggle ON **Declare Cash Tips**
4. Select **Save **
:check_mark: A confirmation message will appear: “Your changes were saved successfully”

## How to Disable Cash Tip Reporting
1. Log in to the [SpotOn Dashboard](https://dashboard.spoton.com/)
2. From the left-hand menu, select **Team Management > Settings > Clocking **Tab
3. Scroll down to “End of Day” and Toggle OFF **Declare Cash Tips**
4. Select **Save **
:check_mark: A confirmation message will appear: “Your changes were saved successfully”

## How Employees Report Cash Tips from the POS
1. From the POS, tap the **hamburger menu (☰)**
2. Under “Manager,” select **Time Clock**
3. On the **Time Clock** screen, select the option Cash tips: **Declare**
4. Employees can** enter the total amount of cash tips** earned during their shift
5. Select** Declare**
> ℹ️ **Update as Needed**
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ - Employees can edit their declared tips at any time during the same shift.
> ℹ️ - The updated amount will be saved automatically.
