# **Overview**

DayCheck lets employees access their approved tips the same day they’re earned. **To use DayCheck, SpotOn Teamwork is required**, since tip approvals and payouts are managed directly through Teamwork.   
Once tips are approved in Teamwork, you simply select **“Send Tips to DayCheck”** from the Dashboard. DayCheck handles the payout and collects reimbursement either daily or weekly (typically on Mondays).

With DayCheck, you can:

- Attract and retain staff
- Improve cash flow while paying tips daily
- Cut down on cash deposits
- Track and reconcile tip payouts directly in Dashboard

# **How does DayCheck work with Teamwork?**

After DayCheck pays out tips, the payout info flows into the same Teamwork payroll reports merchants already use. This lets payroll providers tax those tips correctly, without re-paying them on the paycheck. In short, no changes are needed to your existing Teamwork payroll process.

# **Standard Transfer**

A standard transfer is a 3-day transfer. This means once an employee initiates a transfer from DayCheck to their bank account, it will take ~3 days for the money to appear in the employee’s bank account. *Standard transfers are only available to employees enrolled in on demand.*

> ⚠️ **SpotOn Card Employees:** Standard transfers are only available to employees enrolled with their own card. Employees enrolled with SpotOn Card do not have access to standard transfers.

## **How much does a standard transfer cost?**

Standard transfers are free to the employees ($0).

## **Can an employee transfer any amount via a standard transfer?**

To transfer money out of DayCheck, employees must transfer a minimum of $25.

Examples

- Transfer Amount: $11 ➝ ❌ Cannot Transfer
- Transfer Amount: $25 ➝ ✅ Transferable
- Transfer Amount: $1232 ➝ ✅ Transferable


## **Are there limits to standard transfers?**

Employees can only have one standard transfer in progress at a time. If a standard transfer is already pending, they must wait 3 calendar days for it to complete before initiating another standard transfer.

# **Rapid Transfer**

A Rapid/rapid transfer allows an employee to transfer money from DayCheck to their bank account of choice in minutes.


## **How much does a**** rapid**** transfer cost?**

rapid transfers cost 1% of the transfer amount with:

- A $0.95 minimum fee
- A $2.95 maximum fee

Examples

- Transfer Amount: $25 ➝ Fee: $0.95 (minimum)
- Transfer Amount: $126 ➝ Fee: $1.26 (1% of transfer)
- Transfer Amount: $529 ➝ Fee: $2.95 (maximum)

> 📝 **SpotOn Card Employees:** Rapid transfers are **free** for employees enrolled with SpotOn Card — no fees apply. The fee structure above applies only to employees enrolled with their own card.

 To transfer money out of DayCheck, employees must transfer a minimum of $25.

## **Are there limits to rapid transfers?**

 No, there are no limits to rapid Transfers. An employee can rapid transfer as often as they would like as long as they meet the minimum transfer amount and pay the associated fee.
