It is located in **BOH > Locations**, under **Time Zone / Hours of Operation**. --- **Quick Links** > Macro (toc) --- ## **Step-by-Step Instructions** **Action** #### **Key Functions** - **Closes all unscheduled orders**, even if they have a non-zero balance. - **Finalizes closeouts and reports** automatically. - Ensures consistency with **Restaurant Reports** by aligning: - Auto End of Day Time - Fiscal End of Day Time - Fiscal Start of Day --- #### **Clocking Out Employees** - By default, all users in all job positions are clocked out by the Auto End of Day. - This behavior can be adjusted: - Disable entirely by unchecking Clock Out the Below Job Positions on Auto End of Day. - Control by role by unchecking specific job positions in Job Positions to Clock Out. --- #### **Important Considerations** - **Unchecking “Close Orders on Auto End of Day” is not recommended.** - Doing so will cause reporting inconsistencies that are difficult to reconcile. - Instead, use **House Accounts** or **Scheduled Orders**. - **Close Orders on Auto End of Day** requires an override code to deactivate. - As a company, this option will no longer be deactivated. - Merchants should be trained to schedule or close orders within their own account. > ℹ️ **Best Practice:** Always schedule the Auto End of Day Time during non-business hours to avoid disrupting operations. --- ### **The Auto End of Day Time in the BOH is Locked** ### “Auto End of Day Time is managed by unified batching. To update batch times, visit the dashboard” The Auto End of Day Time in the BOH is currently locked, as indicated by a greyed-out setting. A prompt states that the `Auto End of Day Time is managed by unified batching. To update batch times, visit the dashboard: “/settings/batch_times.”` 1. The Auto End of Day Time in the BOH locked status indicates that the merchant is enrolled in [Rapid Funding](https://help.spoton.com/space/SI/4371611741/Funding+Methods:+ACH,+Debit+OCT,+RTP%2FFedNow+%28Morning+vs+Rapid%29#Rapid-Funding-(RTP/-FedNow)) and that the [Unified Batch ](https://help.spoton.com/space/SK/4433313848/Enroll+in+Rapid+Funding+from+Your+Dashboard#Enrollment-in-Dashboard)Settings are enabled. - These settings combine all batch signals from various service plans, including in-store transactions, online ordering, and the virtual terminal. 2.
