## Overview
A **Pricing Event** allows you to automatically adjust menu item prices based on specific dates, days, times, and order types.
Pricing Events are tied to a specific **Price Level**. For example, a *Happy Hour* Price Level works in conjunction with a *Happy Hour* Pricing Event. Within the Pricing Event, you can:
- Select applicable **Order Types**
- Configure **date ranges, days, and times**
- Define how menu item prices are adjusted
This feature is commonly used for:
- Happy Hour promotions
- Holiday specials
- Limited-time offers
- Weekly recurring discounts

> ⚠️ - If two Pricing Events affect the same menu item — one at the Menu Group level and one directly on the Menu Item — the **item-level event takes priority**.

Yes. Order Types are selected during setup.

Yes. Use a Custom Date Range and select a single date.
**Are Pricing Event schedules based on my restaurant’s local time?**
Yes. Pricing Event schedules follow the **restaurant’s local time zone**. The configured days and times will reflect the time zone set for the restaurant’s location.
