## **Overview**

 This guide covers creating and managing orders on the SpotOn Serve handheld, including adding guests, managing items, sending orders to the kitchen, and processing payments. It also covers **Quick Send & Pay** options, order commands, cash, card, and split balance payments, and marking menu items unavailable (86ing).

### 86 a Menu Item from an RPOS Handheld

1. From the **Menu** screen on the RPOS Handheld, locate the menu item you want to mark as unavailable.
2. Tap and hold the **Menu Item**.
3. Select **86 Item**.
4. A confirmation banner will appear indicating that the menu item was made unavailable.
5. The menu item will appear grayed out, indicating that it is unavailable.

**Quick Send | SpotOn Serve**

Use **Quick Send** to send items to the kitchen and process payments with fewer steps on SpotOn Serve.

**Highlights:**

- Quickly send items to the kitchen while continuing to add items to the order.
- Process payments by **credit card, cash, or gift card**.
- Split payments between guests.

### **Quick Send**

1. After taking the customer's order, tap the **lightning bolt** to send the first round to the kitchen while continuing to add items to the order.
2. To send the order to the kitchen and leave the order flow, tap **Send**.
3. To process a credit card payment, tap the **credit card icon**.
4. To select another payment method or split the payment by guest, tap **Pay**.
